Is it important to rotate my tires?

Tire rotation helps to ensure that the wear on your tires is spread evenly, and the life of the tread is maximized. Uniform tread depth also ensures that traction and handling remain consistent across all four tires.  The frequency with which you should rotate your tires depends on your driving habits and the type of tires you have. However, most experts recommend rotating your tires every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. If you drive in a lot of stop-and-go traffic or on rough roads, you may need to rotate your tires more often.
